To avoid the complications of 3d cursor implementation simple navigation systems have been developed by LeaderVision, including Tile Map Navigation. The Tile Map, which takes up a small section of the screen, represents an equal number of active zones which cover the entire screen area. It is not possible to utilise the highlighting system  available with mouse type control but basic navigation can be accomplished by tapping the screen in the appropriate region.
